Lightwork Home Health acquires Universe Health, expanding footprint to the UK

We're excited to announce that Lightwork Home Health has acquired Universe Health, the UK's top provider of science-backed residential environmental testing. This acquisition adds London to our footprint, following rapid expansion across New York, San Francisco, Austin and Los Angeles over the past year.

Environmental toxins in the home are rapidly gaining momentum as a new frontier in wellness, with growing consumer and clinical demand for a unified solution to address exposures. We've built the standout solution for this category, providing comprehensive, white-glove assessments that evaluate air quality, water quality, EMF exposure, lighting, mold, and more, as well as concierge remediation support.

Our technology and procedures will be rolled out to new UK customers coming in via the acquisition. This includes our proprietary spatial-mapping analysis product that allows our technicians to granularly assess exposures and customers to visualize the impact on their home.

Also rolling out to new UK customers is our Exposure Index approach to quantifying toxin exposures — a science- and data-driven series of standards that make the often-confusing world of ambient health legible.
